My entire Big Bang for tvrealm was inspired by a quote from the required inspirations: "Hell is empty. All of the devils are here." This is what prompted me to focus my entire Big Bang on the show American Horror Story. Some of the icons, etc. have additional inspirations and that's how the post is divided up.

You don't have to worry about gore, but there are potential SPOILERS up to the most recent episode -- "Open House".

You can clearly see where the majority of my attention has been lately. Well, as far as iconning things goes. My TV attention has been focused on marathoning River Monsters.

Yes. I said River Monsters.

I would have judged me too until I got sucked into 3 hours worth of episodes while spending time with my mother who had a broken ankle. It is addictive as all get out.

Doctor Who icons are up to (and including) "The Doctor's Wife". Most are focused on Amy Pond, because she's my claim at fandom365days.

Moving right along...

So I use GIMP. Exclusively.

For around 3 years now. Apparently this is weird.
*I* like it.

I was asked to put together a little thing on how I make an icon by some other people who use GIMP. Not really a tutorial, but maybe it will help? I don't know. I have never done this before. So I would suggest you have at least a slight working knowledge of GIMP, because I am not sure how clear this would be otherwise. I am willing to help though.
