The ending scene from "Lost In Translation".

cely, the reason I watched it and the reason this picspam actually happened!

There's been a lot of speculation about exactly Bob tells Charlotte at the end of this scene. One thing is for certain, it's beautifully shot and reminds us that some things can be said with more than words. *cue corny song*

I love this movie! It's why Scarlett Johansson is one of my favourite actresses :)

I don't know about the ending. I felt they didn't really know what to do with it in the end... but it has been a while since I saw it. Maybe I'm forgetting!

This is beautiful. One of my favorite moments in the movie, even if it is a little bittersweet. Roger Ebert (shockingly enough, he's not always an ass), wrapped up this scene nicely for me: I loved the moment near the end when Bob runs after Charlotte and says something in her ear, and we're not allowed to hear it.

We shouldn't be allowed to hear it. It's between them, and by this point in the movie, they've become real enough to deserve their privacy. Maybe he gave her his phone number. Or said he loved her. Or said she was a good person. Or thanked her. Or whispered, "Had we but world enough, and time..." and left her to look up the rest of it.

Really, the coloring is exquisite. Thanks for sharing!

brilliant scene. even though we couldn't hear what bob said, i think the mystery of it all makes it ten times more romantic. i've always wanted to know their journeys after this moment but i also like the way everything ended.

I frakkin' love this movie. I think there is a vid in youtube in which we can actually hear what Bob says at the end.
