Paper Doll - Rachael Yamagata
Smile as they change your faces
With no regard to you at all
And you find they treat you like a paper doll
And they'll dress you up for the flight

Blinding - Florence and the Machine
Seems that I have been held, in some dreaming state
A tourist in the waking world, never quite awake
No kiss, no gentle word could wake me from this slumber
Until I realize that it was you who held me under

True Intentions - Sarah Blasko
No time to forsake to turn and run away
Because these answers you bring are symptoms of things
You try to forget but your mind is betrayed

Fresh Pair of Eyes - Brooke Waggoner
I want, I want to be seen
With a fresh pair of eyes
The single, the single white tree
In a black hood of disguise

Virgin State of Mind - K's Choice
Where can I run to, where can I hide
Who will I turn to now I'm in a virgin state of mind

Satellite Heart - Anya Marina
I’m a satellite heart/ lost in the dark
I’m spun out so far/ you stop, I start
But I’ll be true to you

True Colors - Glee Cast
But I see your true colors
shining through
I see your true colors
and that's why I love you

Harbor - Vienna Teng
the light in me
will guide you home
all I want is to be your harbor

Notes:
I think that the Sierra/Victor was very Sierra centric in this episode, Belonging, which makes sense, because it's about her. Without Victor her story would have been much sadder, but with him she always has him. The dollhouse is not just a prison, it's her home.
This mix starts with Paper Doll, looking at how the Dollhouse treats her, how she exists. Then Blinding looks at how she was put there, with Nolan and the drugs, and 'until I realize it was you who held me under' is kind of saying that until Echo and Topher realised how she was forced into the dollhouse, she can't become herself.
True Intentions emphasis her pain and guilt at killing Nolan, and how lucky she is that she can soon forget. This song really fits anywhere after this, it ever hints that she can't actually forget, because mixed up in that day is her realising that she loves Victor, and she needs that. Fresh Pair of Eyes underlines her guilt and how she needs to be someone who can be seen differently.
That concludes the really plotty parts of her journey, and the next songs are about her fear of losing herself:
Virgin State of Mind really shows how her mind really does become completely innocent, but that that's a state where she is very fragile, and she needs someone to look after her. Satellite Heart emphasises her lost feeling, but also brings in her love for Victor.
True Colours shows that it's the inside, really pure being that attracts Victor and Sierra to each other, so that they always love each other. Yes I used a Glee song. It's pretty, deal ;).
Harbor is a song that says Sierra has really embraced her true Sierra self over Priya, that all she wants is Victor. I feel that the light in me will guide you home really fits with Victor here as well. He's guiding her home, sitting there very still, being very harbor-like, guiding her home.
Which is where they end up, Sierra has let go of her Priya guilt and she's happy, totally engrossed in Victor. AND THEY GO TO SLEEP IN THE SAME POD. awww. *ahem*
