ooh, I really like the colouring on 16, 18 and 34.
And I feel it's my obligation to let you know it's a kind of awkward having the numbers above/below the icons because then if I'm in the middle of the block I can't tell whether I should be looking for the numbers above of below... if that makes any sense. Which I think it doesn't. :P

I make it a mental note to always put them on top. Because everything else is insane. :P

wouldn't it make more sense to put them on the left or right where people can see at a quick glance which side of the icon they're supposed to be looking for the numbers?

I think it's generally accepted that they're put on the top? I think you once did yours on the bottom and that was WAY confusing. and then people started the trend of putting like:
icon icon icon icon 1-4
icon icon icon icon 5-8

but that takes a lot more work ;)
