Oh dude, totally! Spanish is my first language. Because my grandparents took care of me (Hispanic upbringing much?) in place of "Day Care" and they don't speak English. (I am convinced they are both actually spies and can speak the English language better than I, but are trying to trick unsuspecting minds into thinking otherwise.)
